PYSA will run training sessions for intramural coaches before the beginning of each session. We will go over coach expectations and answer any questions you have about the program. Our training sessions will put the coaches through a typical training session appropriate for the various age groups that will make it fun for the player while learning technical ball skills.
Need ideas for your next practice, here are some links to great resources. These links will take you to training lesson plans. It will give you all kinds of ideas for practices, where you can find examples of small sided game activities by age group. Games: If you happen to have a stronger team than you are playing, please
DO NOT RUN UP THE SCORE. There is no need to win by more than 4 or 5 goals. Please allow the other team to add another player or two to the field. Have your players make passes before they can shoot, or have them score with their weaker foot.
